Patrina Lassiter Liberty University BMAL 501 Executive Leadership and Management Introduction: Groups are very important facet of any organization or environment. Group dynamics played a very important role in team consensus, goals and communicating effectively. As a team player of group two, the need for effective communication was quickly recognizable. In order for the group to complete timely assignments, it required the effort of everyone to complete the assignment on time. Each team member had a goal; however, in order for team to get from point A to B, a good grade and turn in assignments on time; each member had to pull his or her own weight and stay accountable. As the group moved through each phase, consensus had to come early to assist in the team summary. A team is only as good as its members, if one person does not pull his or her weight then the entire team suffers. Integrity, leading by example and workforce diversity are traits that are necessary for a leader’s efficiency in the organization. While the leader is perceived as the kingp in of the organization, his or her role is only effective if they develop specific traits that include taking care of people. Leaders are the key to the development of their organization and followers. By incorporating these three concepts the leader is set to become a resilient leader who is efficient in managing the organization.
